Independent Research Firm Again Cites SDL Tridion as a Leader

“Tridion Leads in WCM For External Sites”

In the new report, Kyle McNabb, Senior Analyst at Forrester Research states: “SDL Tridion complements its strength in both content delivery and content management with a graphical, user-friendly tool set that allows content administrators and site managers to easily create and target content. SDL Tridion also differentiates itself from other vendors with comprehensive globalisation functionality, which allows its users to centrally administer Web sites in multiple languages.”

The report shows that enterprises are looking for “systems that serve core operational demands…to help them manage and deliver content to targeted groups and individuals.” Forrester sees that “Increasingly, enterprises need globalisation assistance as they look to centralise and streamline operations, all the while giving local marketing teams the flexibility they need to market to and serve local customers.”

Forrester found SDL Tridion “has established clear leadership in enabling organisations to manage and deliver persuasive content customer experiences. SDL Tridion excels in personalisation and multi-site and multi-language functionality.” Forrester states that SDL Tridion now “leads charge into persuasive content” by offering site managers “powerful out-of-the-box functionality for creating personalised site experiences.”

“Just like two years ago, we are proud that a renowned, independent research firm such as Forrester has again identified SDL Tridion as a leader in the international Web Content Management market,” says Pieter Varkevisser, SDL Tridion CEO. “We, like Forrester, see that consumers and businesses have ever higher expectations and require their customer experience to be tailored to their specific needs and preferences. With the joint resources of SDL Tridion and SDL we are in a prime position to capitalise on these market trends. We will make a difference in our global marketplace just as we help our customers do so in theirs.”

According to Forrester, enterprises have been “reinvesting in their Web initiative --upgrading or replacing their WCM systems.” The Forrester analysts see an “especially good fit between SDL Tridion and buyers that have global Web site needs, want to implement personalised content on their Web sites and want to empower non-technical users to manage the site.”
