Foundation services

Foundation Services provide Education and Consulting Services, and form the basis of every SDL Tridion Implementation. In general, many large enterprises begin a project with a departmental pilot implementation. Foundation services are designed for these pilot projects and include:

• Infrastructure scan – This scan defines your hardware and software requirements and provides an infrastructure plan for your SDL Tridion implementation.
• Implementation scan – This scan provides a project plan that defines the stages, milestones and deliverables for your roll-out.
• Functional design – A SDL Tridion functional design translates your business requirements into Tridion solutions and provides a basis for the technical solution.

Advanced services

Advanced Services focus on more complex implementations and environments. For example, you may want to extend your implementation from a departmental level to an enterprise level, or migrate to the latest release. Examples of Advanced Services include:

• Migration Scan – A Migration scan includes a report that estimates the impact (cost) of migration to a new release, defines the risk areas for the migration, and identifies the areas where the new release will deliver benefits.
• Enterprise BluePrint – The BluePrint allows you to reuse content and structure to support your content organisation. This service provides BluePrint design and development according to your business requirements.
• Audit Programme  – The Audit Programme provides reviews that ensure implementation quality at critical milestones. These reviews provide you with information about your existing implementation as well as information about possible future enhancements.
• Strategic Quality Assurance – This service provides you with information about SDL Tridion best practices during your implementation on a strategic level and on a tactical level.

Solution services

Solution Services build solutions on top of the content management platform. This Service can enhance your business processes in specific areas and fine tune the best of Tridion features to create additional business value.
